Andrzej Burgs, President of the Management Board
President of the Management Board of Mode S.A. since 2021.
A graduate of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw, specializing in Econophysics. For over ten years he has been working in the 3D printing industry and has been leading the company – Sygnis. Since 2017, he has been its one and only president.
3D printing expert with many years of experience. He is one of the founders of the Chamber of Commerce for Industry 4.0 and a co-creator of the Code of Ethics of the Polish 3D Printing Industry. He also acts as an expert – employer of the Polish Accreditation Committee. Experienced speaker and qualified trainer. He has performe at: „Regiosummit“ – Summit of Local Government and Economic Diplomacy 2019 organized by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, International Symposium on Intellectual Property in Industry and Business (13th edition) organized by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, as well as the 2nd Congress of the Head of Maintenance and innoSHARE 2018.
Under his aegis, Sygnis received, inter alia, Award Entry Book of List 20192020 „Pionier in new technologies /“, EuroSymbol of Innovation 2019, nomination for Polish Intelligent Development 2019, nomination for Architects of Innovations of Puls Biznesu in 2018, very good evaluation of health in the evaluation of innovation by Enterprise Europe Network.
Andrzej Burgs supervises and coordinates development works. It closely cooperates with scientists and science popularizers, promoting pro-scientific attitudes and implementing implemented solutions, taking actions and undertaking educational activities.
Grzegorz Kaszyński, Vice-President of the Management Board
Vice-President of the Management Board of Mode S.A. since 2021.
Has 15 years of experience in the implementation of scientific and research equipment from manufacturers from around the world. He has completed dozens of installations of high-tech devices in research institutions. He started in 2007 with running his own business, which since 2013 focused on introducing the latest solutions in the field of nanotechnology and biotechnology to the Polish market. Currently, as a co-owner and VP Sales at Sygnis, he is responsible not only for the sale of specialist equipment, but also for mentoring new start-ups within Sygnis.
For many years, he has been working closely with biomedical start-ups in EPFL Lausanne, Oxford and Boston. As an expert in 3D bio-printing, he has repeatedly implemented this technology in research groups in Poland, not only providing equipment, but also conducting training and application support. In 2017, he was the first in Poland to start cooperation with the Swedish start-up Cellink (now BICO Company), which in 2020 achieved the status of a unicorn, and is now a world leader in bioconvergence.

A graduate of the University of Warsaw in the fields of Local Government and Regional Policy, Spatial Development and Finance and Accounting [master’s degree]. She completed numerous courses and trainings in business and insurance, both in Poland and abroad. She is an insurance broker specializing in construction, industrial and financial sectors [exam passed before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in 2016] and has several years of experience in managing substantive teams. In Polish and international companies, she was an insurance and finance expert and coordinator. Since June 2017, she has been the chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Sygnis New Technologies Sp. z o.o.
